patrick tubajon graduated from steveston high in 1985. he returns to steveston with a restaurant for the community.

in this deep fried world of ours, gudrun tasting room will offer an alternative to restaurant meals. it will be a social arena where we get to explore with our palettes. gudrun will bring together edible treasures from our region. we need to read ingredient labels and support eateries with fresh, local and organic products. we need to change our ways of shopping and what we put in our bodies; this in turn makes us galavant through our city for great local artisans and support their craft whole-heartedly. it’s great walking down the street shopping at the butcher shop, the bakery, the fruit stand and the shoemaker. let’s go back to yesteryear, an era without preservatives and machine processed foods. let’s trust the hands of artisans making our food and goods.
